ADHD treatment

ADHD is a medical condition that affects the way your brain develops and functions. It is marked by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactive and impulsive behaviors.

ADHD first appears in childhood but can last into adulthood. According to some studies, it has a prevalence of up to 5% in the general adult population. Adults with this condition may experience a wide range of symptoms, such as a lack of focus, disorganization, and restlessness.

TYPES OF ADHD:

  • Predominantly inattentive ADHD
  • Predominantly hyperactive or impulsive ADHD
  • Combined type ADHD
  • Inattentive Type ADHD

This is the most common subtype in adults. Adults with inattentive type ADHD have more difficulty with their focus, attention, and memory.

  • Having many distracting and unrelated thoughts
  • Avoiding tasks that require them to stay focused

  • Making careless mistakes
